Whilst in her final year of a full-time Bachelor of Arts (English major) degree at Newcastle University, Kristine commenced her study of law with the Barrister’s Admission Board Extension Committee of the University of Sydney. She gained the Law Society of NSW prize for First in the State in both her Conveyancing and Succession (Wills & Estates) Law examinations. After being admitted to the Bar of NSW in 1980, she was then placed on the Roll of Solicitors and Barristers in Victoria, and has been a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW since 1984.
Kristine not only works in the areas of Conveyancing and Deceased Estates but also has vast experience in the areas of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship and Family Law. Kristine holds particular expertise in Conveyancing work involving large business transactions throughout the vineyards and transfers of rural land including Old System Title matters and Water Act Licences.
Kristine has years of involvement with the affairs of non-profit organisations, having served as Honorary Solicitor for the Cessnock Country Women’s Association and Cessnock Historical Society, and having served on the Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Board, Cessnock Athletics Club Committee, and being the current Chair of the Board of Hunter Valley Grammar School.
